Trail Photography and Reviews (in alpha order) Questions you might ask your park ranger before your trip.

1. Is space available?

2. What are the trail conditions?

3. What is the trail terrain like (rocky, piney forest, sandy etc.)?

4. Do you have bears or other dangerous animals I should know about?

5. Can we mountain bike the trails?

6. How far is the closest access point to water from our camp site?

7. Will I hear traffic noises from my camp site at night?

8. Will I hear oil drilling, power plant or other mechanistic noises from my camp site?

9. Is the primitive camping area for one or for many campers? (some prims have spaces for 20 + campers and you so don’t want to get stuck by boy scouts or other large groups).

10. Can I access the river from my campsite?

11. Are there any big groups or others already signed up in our camping area?

12. Will I be able to see the neighboring tent(s) or is the area private and secluded?

13. Is hunting season?
